The True Christian Church, must always be true to the teachings, commandments, and leadership of our God, and his son our Lord Jesus Christ. If it is true to these things it will be The True and Faithful Christian Church.

Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I commanded you, and look, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.—Matthew 28:19, 20

Notice that Jesus said they must teach all who became disciples to obey all the things that Jesus commanded. In truth, most of the Churches have fallen far short in fulfilling the command of the Lord.

Two thousand years ago Jesus asked this question:
...when the Son of man comes, will he find the Faith on the earth?
Luke 18:8 (Literal translation)

We use a literal translation here because it accurately represents what Jesus actually said. Some translations say: will he find faith, but that obscures what Jesus was really asking. Jesus said "the Faith". Jesus was asking would the Faith that he began still exist.

There are honest Christians today who would say an emphatic "NO. The Faith does not exist !" despite the fact that there are TWO BILLION PEOPLE who identify themselves as Christian. But is that true?

Because Jesus did not say, when the Son of man comes will he find people calling themselves Christians. No! He was not asking whether there would be Christians on the earth when he comes. He was asking whether the Faith would still be around. The Faith is the system of worship he established. He gathered his followers, organized them, and by the holy spirit made them into the True Church, after he was put to death. The Faith then is the True Church. So the question he was asking was will the True Church still exist.

So what honest Christians are saying is that none of the churches or religious associations on earth today collectively gives evidence of being The True Faith that began with Jesus.

Neither the fact that they contain honest believers, and that they do fine works, or any other thing changes that truth, that if they do not meet the requirements in the Bible for the true Faith, then they are not the true Faith.

Jesus showed this emphatically when he said:
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?" And then will I profess unto them, "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23. (Authorized King James Version)

Jesus said that anyone who does not do the will of his Father is an evildoer, even if that person or group does “wonderful works” in his name!

Why? Well all kinds of people can do good works, or wonderful works, even if they do not claim to be Christian. What makes a Christian different is that they do God’s will. And God’s will is that they practice the true Faith.

But does some association of Christians give evidence of the True Faith? To determine that we need to know what the true Faith is that Jesus taught.

So what is the true Faith that Jesus taught?

It is made up of three parts:

True Christian beliefs
Christian conduct
Christian worship

True Christian beliefs mean accepting and believing what Jesus and the Holy Bible teaches. Nothing less—and nothing more. The closing words at the end of the last book of the Bible, apply in principle to the entire Holy Bible and all that is taught and commanded by God therein.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. — Revelation 22:18-20 (Authorized King James Version)

So does the true Faith exist on the earth today? Our purpose is to make known the True Faith by examining what God’s Holy Word teaches.

What are the true Christian beliefs, Christian conduct, and Christian system of worship that some say does not exist on the earth today in a form that can be called the Faith that was received from Jesus?

This is
the Faith
that was received:

True Christian Beliefs
Christian conduct
Christian worship

And this, perhaps, is the most important of all. When God inspired the writing of the Bible he became its author even though he may have delegated to some of his faithful servants the task and responsibility of choosing the words to use. As author of the Bible, in the part written in the Hebrew language, what most now call the Old Testament, he made his servants include his name over to 6800 times.

The name they wrote under inspiration by God took the form of four Hebrew letters which we transliterate into our alphabet as YHWH. This form of the Divine name is called the Tetragrammaton. In Hebrew, according to scholars, although there are a few who disagree, only the consonants were written down, the writing down of the vowels came later. Since early times, the spelling of the name in our alphabet has been Iehovah, and after the letter J, which is a variant of I, came into use in English, the name was written in English as Jehovah. As the letter I also takes the form Y, in some other languages the divine name has the spelling Yehovah or Yehowah.

After the departure of our Lord Jesus Christ, evidence suggests Christendom removed God’s Holy Name from the Bible. It is widely considered that this was in response to an ancient and unchristian superstition. Although, some Christians believe it was for a still darker reason, that it was in response to Satan’s direction. Whatever the motivation, for this reason, it became the practice with many Bibles to remove God’s name, THAT HE HAD CAUSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE TEXT OF BIBLE, and substitute the title LORD written in small capitals.

In the year 1901, the Bible version that has come to be called the American Standard Version was published. It was produced by the very top Bible scholars in the United States and they unanimously agreed that the divine name, Jehovah, must be restored in the scriptures where God had originally intended it to be.

Since the year 1952, when the complete Revised Standard Version was published, it has become the practice for many translations to follow its lead and remove God’s Holy Name from his Book, the Bible. Some believe that choice has led to much trouble for Christendom as a result of God’s wrath. We choose not to discuss that belief here.

Those translators who have not chosen to eliminate God’s holy name from the Bible have almost all chosen to use a modern secular form of the Tetragrammaton, Yahweh.

We believe that the form used by Christians over the centuries, Jehovah, is quite likely by Divine Providence, and that it is improper for a Christian to use any other form. We also believe that to substitute any other word in the place of the divine name, such as LORD, is sacrilegious.

We agree with one of the earliest Bible translators, the great William Tyndale when he said, in 1530, Iehovah is God's name.

Therefore in deference to the will of God and the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, when he said in prayer And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them, we have chosen to obey the guidance of God’s holy spirit and use his name as he had it used in his Holy Word, and in the form written and pronounced by his Christian servants over the centuries.—John 17:26 Authorized King James Version)

Before we take a look at True Christian teachings, Christian conduct, and Christian worship, let's first take a look at the forces trying to lead us astray. Enemies of the Truth.
